Jansen is a native from Baltimore, MD. Growing up he was very involved in sports playing football, basketball, and lacrosse. He attended McDonogh School for high school. McDonogh is a nondenominational private school located in Owings Mills, MD, and founded in 1837. During his time at McDonogh, Jansen went on to accumulate 8- Varsity Letters. He was a four-year starter on the varsity football (QB) team and won multiple MIAA Conference Championships.
Jansen was offered 5+ division one scholarships but ultimately chose to utilize sports as a springboard to institutions he could have never imagined getting into without sport. Combining his athletic and academic achievements, Jansen decided to attend Williams College where he was on the Men's Football Team. At Williams, Jansen started as a Freshman and shared a conference title his senior year. Jansen graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in History and upon graduation went on to work in finance in NYC.
Jansen has 4+ years of experience in the college athletic recruiting process as both a player and advisor. His network of college coaches spans across the country in a number of sports. He is passionate about supporting student-athletes and providing them with the utmost knowledge and resources as they navigate through this significant life-changing decision.
